This page contains a variety of photos from BMCC. One of the things missing in the "Virtual" world is a face with a voice or e-mail message. We want to introduce ourselves and show you some pictures of our campus and our community. We hope that by "seeing" our campus and us, you will feel like you are truly a part of Bay Mills Community College.
- Michael Parish - Mickey is BMCC's president.
- Nick Ferro - Director Development / Special Assistant to the President.
- Patrick Shannon - Director of Charter Schools.
- Carole Shaule - Carole is BMCC's Webmaster. Carole monitors the web site and is responsible for keeping us online.
- Barbara Ogston - Barb is the Vice President of Academics here at BMCC. She works very closely with the Virtual College to insure that our online courses have the same excellent quality that our on campus courses offer.
- Sherry Bertram and Barbara Ogston - Sherry is the Program Coordinator. She is the one that registers our online students. She is also responsible for connecting our students and the person on campus that can meet his/her needs.
- Virtual College Staff - Barb, Carole, and Sherry in what we affectionately call "The Cave".
- John Lindsay - John is the Online Mentor for the students attending the online classes at BMCC. He assists in helping them in whatever problems they may be experiencing such as chat rooms, emails, etc. He also assists in making new web pages for the college.
- Jane Campbell, Carole and Raco - Jane Campbell is our department intern. She is responsible for scanning documents that we put online.
- Tina Miller - Tina is our BMCC financial aid officer. Tina assists our students with Pell Grants and she also monitors all the scholarships that BMCC offers.
- Tiffany Bergstrom - Tiffany is BMCC's Bookstore manager. Tiffany is also the billing clerk for BMCC. She does all the student billing for both on campus students and our Virtual College students.
- Betty Mitchell - Betty works in our accounting department. Betty's most important job is cutting our pay checks. We love her! :0)
- Kelly Bedell - Kelly is our Support Services Specialist at BMCC. She assists our students in several ways. She helps the students with tutoring arrangements, career planning and more.
- Sherri Ann Schofield - Sherri Ann is our Computer Information Systems Assistant. Sherri Ann is the person that "officially" enrolls students at BMCC. She updates and monitors all our student records.
- Carole, Sherry and Sarah - When the Virtual College began, Carole and Sherry had limited knowledge of CDA. Sarah Jacques, one of our online instructors, came and gave us a "tutorial" on the CDA process.

- Log Library - This is our brand new Library and Heritage Center. Our campus is going to be renovated during the summer so keep checking here for pictures of the progress.
- Library Dedication - Our new Library and Heritage Center building were dedicated in June, 2000. This is our development officer, Nick Ferro, on the left. Our former college President, Martha McLeod, and Charlie Ellingson from Hiawatha Log Homes, Munising, Michigan. Hiawatha Homes generously donated the logs for our lovely library.

- Sunset behind BMCC - The St. Mary's River runs right behind BMCC's campus. The St. Mary's River connects Whitefish Bay and the eastern end of Lake Superior.

Inside the Main Building
- The Learning Center - The Learning Center provides a quiet place for our students to study. Vicki Newland, TRIO director and staff, also assists our students with tutorials, coordinating tutors and any other student needs.
- Science Lab - This is our BMCC Science Lab.
- Computer Lab - BMCC has three computer labs. These labs are open to our students. Our library contains a computer lab, as well, that our community members, as well as our students, may use and enjoy.
- Christmas Feast - We have several potluck dinners a year. Our Christmas feast is a wonderful time for the students and staff to eat and bring our children to school for the day.

- Martha and Dr. Scheirbeck - Our former president, Martha McLeod with Dr. Helen Scheirbeck. Dr. Scheirbeck was Chief of the American Indian Programs Branch in Washington, D.C.

- Rick Elder - Rick is one of our online instructors. He also teaches for BMCC on campus, is our librarian and is in charge of the GED program.
- Students - We have some of the finest students you will ever find.
- Future student - This is one of our on campus AND online students holding her daughter.

- Burial Grounds - Our Native American Burial Grounds
- Veteran's Memorial - Our community is proud of the men and woman who served their country in the armed forces. This statue is dedicated to those wonderful people.
- Spectacle Lake Overlook - This is the spectacular view of the St. Mary's River from Mission Hill. The lake below is called Spectacle Lake, for obvious reasons.

- Our Tribal Health Center - This building was dedicated a couple of years ago. This building houses our health center plus other tribal offices.
