Placement Tests

All BMCC students take placement tests as part of the college registration process. This is done so that a student will not be placed into a class that would be overly difficult. Bay Mills Community College is dedicated to the success of all students, and properly placing students in courses that will aid in their academic achievement is essential. After completing these placement tests, you will be notified by the virtual college of the determination of the placement test.

You need a password from the Virtual College Coordinator to access these tests. Please e-mail her at: lparish@bmcc.edu

English Placement Test: The results will place you in either EN105/EN106 - Introduction to College Reading/Writing or EN111 - College Composition.

Business Math Placement Test: The results will place you in either Academic Enrichment 108, Academic Enrichment 109, or MA111 Business Math.

Algebra Placement Test: The results will place you in either Academic Enrichment 108, Academic Enrichment 109, MA101, MA102, MA114, or MA116.
