Alumni Testimonials

Andy LeBlanc: In earning my degree through BMCC, it has opened many doors in my life and given me a greater understanding of business and also the management of others and working in team situations. I recently have acquired my Associate Broker’s license in real estate and my degree has helped me to better understand many aspects of the business world and how to better help my company and my own business expand, flourish, and grow.”

Ann Cameron: I enjoy all of my work and am fortunate to be able to work on national level workgroups to represent tribal early childhood issues.  BMCC prepared me for my work in the early childhood field.  Online learning made it possible for me to continue learning while working.”

Robert Fillmore: I really liked how dedicated the professors are to the success of the students and how small the classroom sizes are. I really liked how you can earn both your Associate and bachelor’s degrees 100% online, especially for the people who are working full-time. This experience and journey have been a great experience for me, and I am grateful for all the assistance I received from BMCC.  I have been able to put my degree and experience to use immediately after graduating not only in my current employment but have also been able to obtain early childhood education consulting work with the Office of Childcare on a contractual basis which has been great and could not have done it without all the help and guidance from my employer, TEACH, and BMCC.

Tracy Olson: My degree at Bay Mills Community College allowed me to continue with my educational goals. I was able to pursue my bachelor’s degree at Walden University (4.0) and I am currently working on my Master of Social Work (clinical) at Rutgers University.

The smaller classroom sizes at BMCC allows a student to receive more one-on-one support from professors/teachers. This also supports more personable relationships between students and staff, aiding students in overcoming personal obstacles that may be detrimental to educational goals. Within the classroom there is respect for all, fostering exchange of ideas and growth not only in learning, but also in understanding. Additionally, being smaller allows BMCC to quickly provide students with state-of-the-art technical support and resources.
