About Gabe ‘Misko Ginew’ Desrosiers

Gabe Desrosiers BMCC Spring Feast 2026Gabe Desrosiers (Misko Ginew) is a highly respected Anishinaabe knowledge keeper, born and raised in the Lake of the Woods region of Ontario, Canada. A first speaker of Anishinaabemowin (the Anishinaabe language), Desrosiers was raised within the traditional lifeways of his ancestors and carries forward the sacred teachings of songs, dances, stories, and prayers.
