Update: In compliance with the Phase Plan initiated by Bay Mills Tribal Council, Bay Mills Community College is operating with limited staff for services by appointment only. All visitors and staff are expected to wear masks upon entering the building and while conducting face-to-face meetings. Thank you for your patience. We will continue to keep everyone updated.
Bay Mills Indian Community is currently under Level 3 provisions. A copy of the Phase policy can be found here.
Summer classes will continue online only. Fall classes are still planned as scheduled for on-campus and online instruction.
BMCC students will be able to be tested for COVID-19 on the first two days of classes:
Testing is optional but STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. This service is made available in partnership with Bay Mills Health Center, and there will be no additional cost to students.
Testing for students will take place in the parking lot behind the library (see photo) at 12214 W. Lakeshore Drive.
Each student participating in the service will drive up to the designated location, with a completed consent form (attached), where a nasal swab will be taken for a rapid test. (For those insured, please present your insurance card with your completed consent form). Results will be available within 15 minutes.
